Where can I buy Paper Swan & Co. products?

You can find our full retail collection on our Etsy shop. All of our orders are securely processed through Etsy, which also handles payment, checkout, and tracking for your convenience.

Do you sell directly through this website?

This website is our online home and catalog; a place to learn more about our collections, values, and process. All retail purchases are handled through Etsy, and wholesale orders are placed through Faire.

Do I need an Etsy account to order?

No, you don’t! Etsy allows you to check out as a guest. However, creating an account lets you track your order, leave reviews, and save favorites more easily.

How often do you release new collections?

We typically release new postcards monthly and greeting card collections seasonally; spring, summer, autumn, and winter, along with limited-edition designs for holidays and special occasions. The best way to stay updated is by subscribing to our newsletter, Notes from the Nest.

Can I use multiple discount codes on one order?

Only one discount code can be applied per Etsy order. Be sure to use the one that offers the best savings!

How can I check my order status?

You can find tracking information in your Etsy account under “Purchases and Reviews.” You’ll also receive an email once your order has shipped.


Returns, Exchanges & Order Issues

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and must contact us through Etsy before sending anything back. Items must be returned in their original condition; any loss in value will be the buyer’s responsibility.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us through Etsy messages or email us at hello@paperswanco.com with photos of the damage or error. We’ll gladly send a replacement or issue a refund depending on the situation.

Can I cancel an order after placing it?

Orders can be canceled within 2 hours of purchase if they haven’t shipped yet. Once the order is marked as shipped, it cannot be canceled.


Sustainability & Practices

What makes your products eco-friendly?

We prioritize sustainability in every step, using FSC-certified paper, water-based inks, recycled mailers, and plastic-free packaging whenever possible. We also print in small batches to minimize waste.

Are your sleeves compostable?

Yes! We use glassine or PLA-based compostable sleeves instead of plastic cello whenever available. Both are biodegradable and earth-friendly.

Do you take custom illustration or design requests?

We take on limited custom collaborations each year that align with our style and values. Please reach out with your idea and timeline; we’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days. During the holiday season or shop updates, processing may take slightly longer. You’ll always receive a tracking email once your order is on its way.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped directly from our studio in California, USA.

What shipping carrier do you use?

We primarily use USPS Ground Advantage or First Class Mail for U.S. orders and USPS International for global shipments. Larger wholesale orders placed through Faire are handled by Faire’s partnered couriers.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes! We ship worldwide through Etsy. Please note that international orders may take 2–4 weeks depending on customs processing and local delivery speeds. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import fees that may apply.

What if my tracking says “Delivered,” but I haven’t received my order?

Occasionally, USPS marks packages as delivered a day early. If you haven’t received your order within 1–2 business days, please check with your local post office or neighbors. If the issue continues, contact us through Etsy so we can assist.

How do you package your orders?

Every order is carefully packaged in eco-friendly materials. We use recycled rigid mailers, glassine or compostable sleeves, and paper tape instead of plastic whenever possible. We believe that packaging should be beautiful, protective, and kind to the planet.

Do you offer gift wrapping or notes?

Yes! If you’re sending a gift, you can include a short personalized message during checkout on Etsy. We’ll handwrite it on a small notecard and exclude pricing information.

What type of paper do you use?

All of our paper goods are printed on premium, FSC-certified cardstock with a soft, tactile finish. We carefully select materials that showcase our watercolor designs beautifully while supporting sustainable practices.

Are your products made in the U.S.?

Yes! all of our designs are created, printed, and assembled in the U.S. in partnership with trusted eco-conscious printers.

Are your postcards suitable for mailing without an envelope?

Absolutely! Each postcard meets USPS size and thickness requirements for mailing on its own. Just add a stamp and address, and it’s ready to travel.

Do your greeting cards come with envelopes?

Yes, all greeting cards come with coordinating envelopes made from recycled or FSC-certified paper.

Can I frame your postcards as art prints?

Definitely! Our postcards are designed to double as small art prints. They fit perfectly in standard 4x6" or 5x7" frames.
